Boliviaより待望のGeisha種がラインナップに加わりました。
Boliviaのスペシャルティコーヒーを牽引するPedro Rodriguez氏。
会計士であった彼はコーヒーへの情熱を燃やし安定した職を捨て、1986年にコーヒー業界に参入し、生産者との信頼と相互利益の構築に焦点を当てた”Agricafe”を息子Pedro Pablo、娘のDanielaとともに経営しています。現在、彼の家族は「Finca Los Rodriguez」の旗の下で約130ヘクタール、12の農園を所有しており、Waliki農園はその中でも最も新しい農園になります。
農園のあるCaranavi地区の周囲には鬱蒼とした原生林が広がりコーヒー栽培に恵まれた環境、標高1,680mの高地に位置することから、昼夜の寒暖差によりチェリーの成熟に時間を持たせ、ゆっくりと成熟することで糖度の増加を促進させより甘いコーヒーを生産することに繋がります。
今回リリースするロットはGeisha種。
丁寧な乾燥工程を踏んだNaturalプロセスのコーヒーです。
プロセス由来のRaisinやSmoothを感じる味わいやWhiskeyを思わせる味わいが特徴の一杯です。

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of the highly anticipated Geisha variety from Bolivia to our lineup.
Leading the specialty coffee movement in Bolivia is Pedro Rodriguez. Originally an accountant, Pedro abandoned his stable job in 1986 due to his passion for coffee and entered the coffee industry. He now manages "Agricafe," a company focused on building trust and mutual benefits with producers, along with his son Pedro Pablo and daughter Daniela. Today, his family owns about 130 hectares under the banner of "Finca Los Rodriguez," with 12 farms, including Waliki Farm, which is the newest among them.
Located in the Caranavi district, the farm is surrounded by dense virgin forests, providing an ideal environment for coffee cultivation. Positioned at an elevation of 1,680 meters, the significant temperature variations between day and night allow the cherries to mature slowly, promoting an increase in sugar content and resulting in sweeter coffee.
This newly released lot is of the Geisha variety, processed through a meticulous natural drying process.
The coffee is characterized by flavors reminiscent of raisin and smooth, with hints of whiskey, making it a distinctively rich cup.
