Abu農園は、Panamaの中でも特に標高が高く自然豊かなBoquete地区に位置し、世界最高峰のGeishaを生産する農園として知られています。徹底的に品質にこだわる農園主Jose氏は、収穫から精製までの一つ一つの工程に惜しみなく情熱を注ぎ、その品質は世界的な品評会でも毎年高い評価を受けています。
今回ご紹介する『Classic Geisha Washed GW-2660』は、特別なロットコードを冠したマイクロロットです。完熟したチェリーだけを丁寧に手摘みした後、さらに手選別を経て、24時間の嫌気性発酵（アナエロビックドライファーメンテーション）を行っています。その後、山の湧き水で完全に手作業でウォッシュし、清涼感ある透明な風味を最大限に引き出しました。最後にアフリカンベッドで15日間じっくり乾燥させることで、複雑で奥行きある味わいに仕上げられています。
香りはJusminの華やかさを纏い、口に含むとFloralな甘さとOrangeを思わせる鮮やかな酸味が美しく広がります。透明感あふれる風味と繊細な余韻が優雅に続く、まさに特別なGeishaの真骨頂とも言える一杯です。

A special Geisha Washed coffee has arrived from the world-renowned Abu Farm, one of Panama’s most celebrated coffee producers.
Located in the high-altitude, lush Boquete region of Panama, Abu Farm is known for producing some of the world’s finest Geisha coffees. Jose, the dedicated farm owner, pours his passion into every stage of production, from harvest to processing, and his commitment to quality is recognized year after year at prestigious global competitions.
The Classic Geisha Washed GW-2660 we introduce today is a micro-lot carrying a special lot code. Only fully ripe cherries are meticulously handpicked and carefully sorted before undergoing a 24-hour anaerobic dry fermentation. After fermentation, the cherries are washed entirely by hand using pure mountain spring water, enhancing the coffee’s refreshing clarity. Finally, the beans are slowly dried on African beds over a period of 15 days, creating a cup with incredible depth and complexity.
The aroma is rich with jasmine florals, while the first sip reveals a bright, vivid acidity reminiscent of orange, balanced with delicate floral sweetness. The cup showcases extraordinary clarity and a refined, lingering finish—truly a quintessential expression of a world-class Geisha.
