From Ecuador, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of a special coffee that achieved the impressive third place in the 2023 Cup of Excellence.

Finca Cruz Loma is a family-owned farm located in San Jose de Minas, Pichincha State, Ecuador. The farm has a history of winning international competitions and cultivates a variety of coffee plants including Typica Sidra, Sidra, Caturra, Tabi, and a small amount of Geisha.

The lot we have received is a crossbreed of Typica and Sidra. This variety was developed at a trial farm operated by Nestle in Pichincha State, derived from several generations of selective breeding between native Ethiopian strains and the Red Bourbon variety. The flavor profile is notably floral, reminiscent of Geisha and Ethiopian varieties.

This batch has been processed using the Anaerobic Washed method, which enhances a clean and gentle taste, allowing you to enjoy the flavors of blood orange and muscat.
