To celebrate their 10th anniversary, a special lot from La Palma & El Tucán's Legendary Series has arrived.

Located in Cundinamarca, Colombia, La Palma & El Tucán is an innovative farm dedicated to regenerative and sustainable coffee production. Sitting at elevations between 1,760 and 1,795 meters, the farm practices coexistence with nature, aiming to enhance coffee quality while contributing to the development of the local community.

They employ a polyculture farming method, integrating a diverse range of plants such as banana, avocado, balu, pink cedar, and guama, which nurtures fertile soil and enables natural pest control without the reliance on chemicals.

The lot we introduce today comes from the Legendary Series, the pinnacle of La Palma & El Tucán's offerings. Only a select few lots are chosen for this line, representing less than 1% of their total production — truly the ultimate selection.

This particular lot has been processed using a special lactic acid fermentation method. After 85 hours of fermentation in the cherry, followed by 24 hours of mucilage fermentation, the coffee is carefully sun-dried. This process brings out not only the vibrant fruitiness inherent to the Geisha variety but also a smooth, buttery mouthfeel and rich body.
