ロンビアの有名農園、CGLE（Café Granja La Esperanza）が所有するLas Marigaritas農園から、新たなGeisha種が届きました。
CGLEは2007年にパナマのLa Carleida農園から農場を借り、翌年にはBOP（Best of Panama）の1位に輝きました。このとき、初めてGeisha種をコロンビアに持ち帰り、コロンビアコーヒーの新しい時代の幕開けを告げました。また、数々のバリスタがそのコーヒーを使用し、輝かしい成績を収めています。
Las Marigaritas農園はコロンビア・カウカ県に位置し、標高1570mから1850mの間で栽培されています。この農園は1945年から続く歴史ある農園で、湿度や気候に恵まれ、希少なコーヒー種の栽培や様々な精製方法の開発に取り組んでいます。
今回ご紹介するロットは、そのLas Marigaritas農園から栽培されたGeisha種です。プロセスにはシンプルなWashedプロセスが施され、これにより豆本来のフローラルなフレーバーが引き立ち、まるで Tae Like な風味を感じていただけます。Lemon TeaやHerb Teaのような味わいをお楽しみください。

Colombia’s esteemed Café Granja La Esperanza (CGLE) has delivered a remarkable new Geisha lot from Las Margaritas Farm.
In 2007, CGLE leased land from La Carleida Farm in Panama, and the following year, their coffee won 1st place at Best of Panama (BOP). This was a turning point—the moment when Geisha was first introduced to Colombia, marking a new era for Colombian specialty coffee. Since then, numerous baristas have used CGLE’s coffees in competitions, achieving remarkable success.
Las Margaritas Farm, located in Cauca, Colombia, sits at an altitude of 1,570m to 1,850m. Established in 1945, this farm benefits from ideal humidity and climate conditions, allowing for the cultivation of rare coffee varieties and the development of innovative processing methods.
This particular lot features Geisha from Las Margaritas, processed using the Washed method. This clean and simple process enhances the coffee’s natural floral characteristics, creating a tea-like elegance. Expect delicate flavors reminiscent of Lemon Tea and Herb Tea, with a refined and refreshing profile.
