We are excited to introduce a rare coffee variety from Brazil, now part of our lineup.

Daterra Farm, one of Brazil's most historic coffee farms, meticulously manages its vast land by dividing it into small plots. Through consistently experimentation and research with the latest technologies, the farm produces cutting-edge coffees. It also focuses on varietal improvement and the development of new processes, continually inspiring baristas around the world.

This batch features Laurina, a somewhat unusual variety. It is a mutant derived from the Bourbon species, notable for its caffeine content, which is about half that of typical Arabica beans.

Despite its lower caffeine content, Laurina does not compromise on the high-quality aroma and vibrant flavors associated with premium coffee.

Also known as Bourbon Pointu, Laurina gained significant attention after setting a record price at an auction in 2016 as a Brazilian coffee.

This lot has been processed through 60 hours of anaerobic fermentation, enhancing Laurina's natural sweetness and aroma, and bringing out a rich, complex flavor reminiscent of red wine and craft cola.

This unique coffee is rare and not readily available, so we encourage you to try it while you can.
