We have just received a special Sudan Rume variety from CGLE's Las Margaritas farm, which is attracting attention from around the world.

CGLE (Café Granja La Esperanza) is a group of producers that continues to produce the highest quality coffee in Colombia, captivating baristas around the world.
One of CGLE's representative farms, Las Margaritas, is located in Valle de Cauca in western Colombia, and in its rich soil cultivates mainly rare varieties such as Geisha and Pacamara.

The Sudan Rume variety, as its name suggests, was discovered in the Rume Valley in Sudan. Although its high quality has long been recognized, its productivity is very low and it has rarely been cultivated for commercial purposes.
However, in recent years, the unique and delicate flavor of this variety has come into the spotlight, and it has become a rare and notable variety that is frequently seen at international competitions.

This batch is made using the traditional natural method to bring out the vibrant flavor of Sudan Rume.

The coffee cherries are carefully hand-picked and sorted, then left in a silo for 48 hours, after which they are slowly dried in the sun for 28 days.

This coffee is characterized by a refreshing fruity flavor like mango or citrus unshiu, and an herbal, spicy aroma reminiscent of pink pepper, which is unique to this variety.
