The Lamastus family, who own the Elida farm, have been producing coffee for four generations and won first place in the Geisha Washed category at the Best of Panama (BoP) in 2016. Since then, the Lamastus Family has won the BOP awards many times.
In addition to Farm Elida, the Lamastus family also owns Farm El Burro and Farm Luito Geisha.
This lot was purchased at the Lamastus Family Estates Auction, a private auction held by these three farms.
This Loma lot comes from a special section of the Elida estate, located within Baru Volcano National Park.
The cherries are left to ferment anaerobically for four days to bring out the best in the fruit's unique characteristics.
