Introducing the new Geisha seeds that have arrived from Lerida Farm.

Lerida Farm was established in 1920 and is known as one of the oldest farms in Panama. It also won first place in the BOP (Best Of Panama) in 2001. Lerida Farm is made up of multiple farms, and the Geisha we are introducing this time is grown at one of them, Espelendorosa.

This region is at a high altitude and has ideal conditions for growing Geisha grapes, allowing them to fully develop their characteristics.

In the process, only the best cherries are carefully selected by flotation and then dried slowly for 18 days on African beds. This simple and thorough process brings out the high sugar content unique to Geisha varieties, giving them a sweetness like brown sugar. The floral aroma also leads to a fruity impression like orange or marmalade, allowing you to enjoy a rich flavor.

Introducing the New Geisha from Lerida Estate

Established in 1920, Lerida Estate is one of the most historic coffee farms in Panama, renowned for its long-standing excellence. In 2001, it achieved first place in the Best of Panama (BOP) competition, cementing its reputation as a top-tier producer. The Geisha variety featured here comes from the Espelendorosa farm, a key part of the Lerida Estate.

Located at a high altitude, this area provides the conditions ideal for cultivating Geisha, allowing the unique characteristics of this variety to shine through.

The processing of this lot begins with a meticulous floating selection to ensure only the finest cherries are used. The cherries are then slowly dried on African beds over the course of 18 days. This simple yet precise approach maximizes the natural sugars inherent in Geisha, resulting in a flavor profile reminiscent of Brown Sugar. Complementing this sweetness are floral notes that transition into fruity impressions of Orange and Marmalade, delivering a cup bursting with complexity and depth.
