Mexico Cup Of Excellence 2023において１位に入賞した素晴らしいロットが到着致しました。
Las Nieves農園は、オアハカのシエラ・マドレ山脈にあり、プエルト・エスコンディードから２時間ほどの場所に位置しています。
プエルト・エスコンディードは、かつてコーヒーの産地として有名でしたが、20世紀を通じて世界的なコーヒー価格の下落などにより、多くの大規模農園が解体されたり、放置されたりするようになりました。
Las Nieves農園は1880年設立されましたが、2006年に現在の生産者であるGustavo Boltjes Rising氏らが協同組合を設立した時、この農園は数十年の間、放置されていました。
その後の18年間で、彼らは有機農業と公平な雇用慣行を用いて少しずつ変貌を遂げていきました。
Geisha以外にも、TypicaやBourbon、Pacamala、Garnicaなど、様々な品種のコーヒーを育てています。
彼らは、土壌の健全性を維持し、炭素隔離を実践し、再生管理によって、生物多様性を保護するよう取り組んでいます。

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a wonderful lot that won first place in the Mexico Cup Of Excellence 2023.
Las Nieves Estate is located in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Oaxaca, about two hours from Puerto Escondido.
Puerto Escondido was once famous for its coffee, but throughout the 20th century, many large plantations were dismantled or abandoned due to the global decline in coffee prices.
Las Nieves was founded in 1880, but had been abandoned for decades when current producer Gustavo Boltjes Rising and others founded the cooperative in 2006.
Over the next 18 years, they gradually transformed it using organic farming and fair employment practices.
In addition to Geisha, they grow a variety of other coffee varieties, including Typica, Bourbon, Pacamala, and Garnica.
They are committed to maintaining soil health, practicing carbon sequestration, and preserving biodiversity through regenerative management.
The rich flavor profile is reminiscent of Chocolate, with a variety of flavors reminiscent of Berry, Mango, and Grape, and an overwhelmingly watery, clean mouthfeel with a very long, lingering finish.
