Colombia La Reserva農園から希少品種のコーヒーが届きました。
その品種はWush-Wushです。
Wush-Wushはエチオピアのカッファ州の Wush Wush 地域で生まれたためこの名前がつきました。
最高品種と呼ばれるGeisha種よりも生産量が少なく、とても希少とされています。
また、Ethiopia のGesha 地域とWush Wush地域は50kmほどしか離れておらず、華やかな印象や柑橘のフレーバーなどGeishaを思わせる味わいも併せもちます。
オーナーであるJuan Felipe Ocampoは2013年に自身の農園を購入し、現在では24種類の品種のコーヒーを栽培する素晴らしい努力を重ねている生産者です。
この品種由来のOrangeやHibiscus のような味わいとプロセス由来のRed Grape, Pineapple のようなフレーバーが特徴です。
A rare variety of coffee has arrived from Colombia La Reserva farm.
The variety is Wush-Wush.
Wush-Wush was named after the Wush Wush region in Kaffa, Ethiopia.
It is considered very rare and is produced in smaller quantities than the Geisha variety, which is considered the best variety.
The Gesha and Wush-Wush regions of Ethiopia are only about 50 kilometers apart, and Wush-Wush has a flavor reminiscent of Geisha with its floral impressions and citrus flavors.
Owner Juan Felipe Ocampo purchased his own farm in 2013 and is now a producer of great effort, growing 24 varieties of coffee.
The coffees are characterized by Orange and Hibiscus flavors from this variety and Red Grape and Pineapple flavors from the process.
